A new paper published by Harvard Business Review argues that women leave science and technology careers because of "hostile macho cultures" and incentives to take risks among other reasons. The article claims that about half of women starting careers in science, engineering and technology ends up abandoned by many factors in corporate and technology play against his tenure.
The main causes are considered macho work environments, time-consuming positions and are difficult to reconcile with the family and a sense of stagnation in the race against several job options.

The purpose of this meeting focused on the implementation of gender mainstreaming as a contribution to the production of knowledge and culture, from historical analysis of the role of women in the events that contributed to national development.
